The Standards and Market Access Programme (SMAP), which is financed by the European Union (EU) under the 10th European Development Fund (EDF-10), is a 3 year programme running from 2014 to 2017. The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) is one of the implementing and beneficiary institutions. The SMAP Secretariat is housed at Kenya Bureau of Standards. The Secretariat is charged with coordination of SMAP activities with links to the European Union, the National Treasury and other institutions involved in the project including KEPHIS,DVS and UNIDO.
The Standards and Market Access Programme (SMAP) requires an Administrative Assistant to facilitate program activities and ensure timely coordination and implementation of the programme.
Application letters including application form, Curriculum Vitae and copies of relevant certificates must be submitted online via KEBS Website htt://www.kebs.org on or before 27th January 2015. Only short listed candidates will be contacted and canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
