| KEBS intends to implement modern conference/meeting facilities in four of its conference rooms and also install structured cabling in all the four linking then with a Fiber optic backbone to its data center located at the Headquarters. This should integrate both data and voice for the intra-block and fiber optic backbone for the inter-floors.
Tender documents detailing the requirements may be obtained from the Procurement Office at KEBS Centre, Popo Road, Off Mombasa Road, Behind Bellevue Cinema Nairobi, on normal working days between 8.30 a.m and 4.00 p.m upon payment of a non refundable fee of Kenya Shillings Two Thousand (Kshs. 2,000) payable in cash or bankers’ cheque.
Completed tender documents in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked “KEBS/T096/2012/2013: “Installation of Modern Conference Facilities and Structured Cabling for Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS)”

Tender opening will be carried out immediately thereafter at the KEBS Centre Conference Room. Tenderers or their representatives are free to attend the tender opening.
Tenders must be accompanied by Bid Security of 2% of Total Tender Price in form of a Bank Guarantee from a reputable bank.
KEBS is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender or give reasons for its decisions.
